Happy Card Haryana Roadways Yojana About
On Thursday, March 7, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (Haryana HAPPY Card Yojana) from Panchkula. This scheme will also be known as the Haryana HAPPY Card Yojana. Through this initiative, Antyodaya families will be able to travel for free on Haryana Roadways buses. Beneficiaries will be issued a smart card linked to the e-ticketing system for free travel on Haryana Roadways buses.
Under this scheme, Antyodaya families will be entitled to free travel up to 1,000 kilometers per year on Haryana Roadways buses. The Haryana HAPPY Card Yojana will benefit 2.289 million families across the state. Families with an annual income of up to ₹100,000 will be provided with the HAPPY Card, which will enable eligible beneficiaries to travel from one place to another.
For a HAPPY Card, the beneficiary will have to pay a fee of ₹50. The remaining card cost of ₹109, along with the annual maintenance fee of ₹79, will be borne by the government.
