Who is Not Eligible for the PM Internship Scheme?
You cannot apply for the PM Internship Scheme if:
- You are younger than 21 years or older than 24 years as of the application submission deadline.
- You are currently employed full-time or enrolled in full-time education.
- You are a graduate of institutions such as IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, or IIITs.
- You hold qualifications like CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA, PhD, or any master’s or higher degree recognized by UGC.
- You are participating in any skill, apprenticeship, internship, or training program under a Central or State Government scheme.
- You have already completed an apprenticeship under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
- Your family’s income (self, parents, or spouse) exceeds ₹8 lakh for FY 2023-24.
- Any member of your family (self, parents, or spouse) is a permanent/regular government employee, except for contractual workers. This includes employees of Central and State Governments, Union Territories, PSUs, statutory organizations, and local bodies.
